She added that she was present in the dream and watched as the two departed, both dressed in green.

Upon waking, the lawmaker said she prayed for divine clarity on the vision's meaning.

She stressed that her dreams have historically proven accurate, noting that she only dreams once a year, a detail she offered to underscore the significance of the experience.

Wamuchomba's post, framed as a prophetic dream rather than a political statement, drew attention precisely because the image of the two figures sharing food and laughter stands in sharp contrast to the rivalry that has defined their relationship since Gachagua's impeachment as deputy president in October 2024.

Following the Ol Kalou by-election held on July 16, in which Gachagua's Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) claimed victory , several Mt. Kenya leaders within Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party have since defected to DCP .

Political analysts have pointed to the Ol Kalou result as a potential indicator of the region's mood heading into the 2027 General Election, suggesting that candidates without DCP backing could face difficult races.

Amid the growing contest for influence in the region, authorities have also called for calm and urged political actors to maintain civility in their public rallies.
