According to Murkomen, no secret briefing was required to know the President's plans ahead of the Vision 2060 launch. He pointed out that Ruto had himself published a post on his Facebook page early on the morning of 27 July, signalling that he would be speaking on Kenya's future before the report was formally unveiled.
Murkomen argued that the information Gachagua claimed came from intelligence sources was in fact publicly available to anyone following the President's official social media accounts.
