Source: UGC Speaking during an interview with Nigerian journalist Edmund Obilo, Winnie argued that although Ruto has made progress in some areas, there is still much more he needs to do before seeking another mandate from Kenyans.

When asked whether she would support Ruto's re-election bid in 2027, Winnie described the question as difficult to answer, saying she had not yet made up her mind.
She also expressed the belief that if Raila Odinga were alive, he would most likely have contested the presidency in 2027 despite his working relationship with Ruto.
According to Winnie, widespread public dissatisfaction with the current administration and what she termed the slow pace of development could have influenced Raila's decision.
Turning to the state of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), Winnie urged party leaders to allow members to determine the party's future rather than a few influential individuals.
She lamented that internal power struggles had overshadowed the wishes of ordinary supporters since Raila's death

Winnie further expressed disappointment with the party's current direction, saying it no longer reflects the values that defined it over the years.
She also dismissed suggestions that ODM belongs to the Odinga family, insisting the political party belongs to Kenyans.
